M’kali-Hashiki is a Griot & Eromancer who tends the erotic as a current of healing, connection, and transformation.
She is a former social justice organizer mentored by the queer leftist radical theorists and movement architects who defined an era. Her current work in the world combines nearly two decades of somatic training—including certifications in Sexological Bodywork; Sound, Voice, & Music Healing; and Sacred Intimacy—with the political understanding that wielding erotic power in service of liberation is an act of resistance.
Through Erotic Insurgency, she offers rituals, coaching, and guided practices rooted in the belief that disrupting disconnection and rooting into joy are themselves acts of refusal, resilience, & reclamation. She supports both personal healing and political reawakening, especially for those living in bodies historically or multiply-marginalized by The State. She also offers embodiment and wellness-centered consulting for organizations and creative stakeholders, and works as a Sensitivity Reader to help dismantle explicit and implicit bias in manuscripts.
As a fat, Black, queer, kinky, polyamorous, middle-aged, Scorpio, and burn/rape/CSA survivor with decades of PTSD, her work is rooted in the lived experience of struggling to love herself in a world that hates all her identities.
